Dr. Kapp Vorbildpreis (Citizenship Prize) 2019

26.06.2019 - Bad Staffelstein | Award ceremony for voluntary work

During a festive event, the renowned Dr. Kapp Citizenship Prize was awarded to 59 apprentices in Castle Banz. “Your engagement is not in vain” under this motto young apprentices were remunerated with attractive cash prizes of 10.000 € in total for the exceptional volunteering work which they undertook in addition to the vocational training.

It was particularly pleasing that the trainees of KAPP were awarded the first and second prize category this year.
Jennifer Kunz, a second-year electronic technician apprentice, convinced the jury by being a trainer for swimming lessons in recreational and competitive sports and was awarded the first category prize.
Jakob Pötsch, industrial mechanic in his second year of vocational training, was awarded the second category prize. He is an active member of the Protestant rural youth Ermershausen and took a stand for the youth fire brigade.

The award ceremony of the Bavarian company association Bayme took place already for the 15th time and has the aim to encourage and honor voluntary work of young people and to strengthen their social competence.
