Donations for children from the region

20.01.2017 - KAPP NILES donates € 13,700 for children in need

Already since 10 years KAPP NILES waives giving Christmas presents to their customers and rounds up the amount in favor of donations, whose recipients are chosen deliberately from the Coburg region.
This year, “Children’s Cancer Foundation, Coburg” was supported by 10,000 €. Thomas Nowak, third mayor of the city of Coburg and chairman of the board of trustees of the Children’s Cancer Foundation sincerely thanked Martin Kapp for the generous donation.
The retirees of KAPP NILES joined again the annual donation campaign. They waived on Christmas presents and provided 2,500 € for “Support for Disabled Child, Coburg”.
Bernd Pöthig, who had worked for more than 50 years at the KAPP company, gave the donation to Christina Oswald, the nursing supervisor of the association. Mrs. Oswald, two carers and four paediatric nurses are currently taking home care for a four-year-old girl as well as a three-year-old boy.

Third donation of 1,200 € came from the management board for the “German Child Protection Agency, District of Coburg”.
Iris Piper, first chairman of the Child Protection Agency, Coburg, thanked for this support and reported on the project "Strengthen Strengths". "This course helps six to ten-year-olds to strengthen their self-confidence, but above all they learn also to say "no" and be able to distinguish themselves.

Martin Kapp thanked the representatives of charity associations for the great voluntary commitment. "I am always happy to know that the donations come in the right hands."
