Our newly developed CBN pro profile grinding wheels enable consistent and reproducible improvments in surface quality. While standard CBN tools previously achieved Ra values below 0.4 μm, our new grinding wheels enable surface qualities of Ra < 0.2 μm on the workpiece.

During the grinding process, profile wear can lead to deviations in the tool geometry, which increases the time and effort required for tool set-up and compromises process reliability.

The innovative CBN pro tools feature an optimised profile shape with ffα < 1.0 μm and reduced profile wear over the entire tool lifetime. Improved reproducibility of surface finish and profile geometry reduces adjustment efforts during tool set-up and significantly increases process reliability for customers.
