“As a family business with deep roots in Coburg, it goes without saying that we take responsibility for our region and our employees. Achieving a balance between work and family life is a key factor in the satisfaction of our team and in our attractiveness as an employer,” emphasises Matthias Kapp, Managing Director of the KAPP NILES Group. “By joining the ‘Coburg – The Family City’ alliance, we want to send a clear signal and work together with the city to make our location even more liveable for families.”

Working Together for a Strong Location

The “Coburg – The Family City” alliance brings together stakeholders from business, politics and society with the aim of continuously improving conditions for families in the region. For KAPP NILES, the partnership is a logical step towards promoting the exchange of best-practice solutions and further strengthening its position as a family-conscious employer.

Can Aydin, Third Mayor of the City of Coburg, highlights the significance of the new partnership: “Family-friendliness is a crucial location factor – both for businesses and for the city itself. With the KAPP NILES Group, our alliance gains a company with a long tradition and a forward-looking approach that takes responsibility for its employees and for the region. This commitment sends a strong signal for Coburg as an attractive place to work and live for families.”
